Our Book Review – Grit (King’s Harlots #1) by J.M. Walker

** Review by Gayle from Bloggers From Down Under **

Every time you touch me, I can feel it in my soul.

As soon as he touched me, I would break. As soon as he kissed me, I would crash. As soon as he loved me, I would shatter.

Her name is Jay.
His name is Angel.

Jay is President of the Kings Harlots MC.
Angel is team leader of Vice – One.

MC meets Military.

And that combination…..Simply explosive.

A chance meeting brings Jay and Angel together.
They are instantly drawn to each other.
The chemistry is mind blowing.
But Jay won’t let her guard down. She can’t. Her heart just wouldn’t cope.
Angel on the other hand wants Jay. The need to have her is all consuming and he’ll stop at nothing to claim her as his.
Two opposites, but with one common denominator.
To stop the monsters that are lurking in the shadows taking girl after girl from their small home town.
It’s very personal to them both.
A sister is missing.
A niece is missing.
They will stop at nothing to find them, to find all the girls that have been taken.
But at what cost?
What secrets will be revealed?
Can Jay trust Angel?
Can Angel break down Jays walls?
Can they work together?
Or will this ultimately tear them apart?

Guys you need to read Grit.
From beginning to end I was completely mesmerisedĀ I couldn’t put it down.
It was fast paced, emotionally charged and action packed.
It was at times highly confronting, but on the flip side breathtakingly beautiful
It was edge of you seat stuff that left me utterly speechless.
An all consuming read that left me wanting.
It had everything I could’ve asked for in a novel and so much more.
Ohh and what I did fail to mention is this….
It’s off the charts gritty and sinfully delicious with a twist that will leave your head spinning.

I highly recommend Grit to read….Believe me you will not be disappointed.

5 stars.
