Jess Taylor has everything a girl could ever ask for. A beautiful house, the job of her dreams, a loyal best friend and a baby on the way. But her partner, Scott, takes most of that away from her in a horrible way.
Waking up in the hospital, Jess knows that Scott is responsible for her horrific injuries, and the tragic loss of her precious son. And even though the have had their fair share of arguments, she never thought he would ever raise a hand to her.
While recovering at her parents house, she falls, literally, into the arms of Fletcher Adams, the famous football player, who has a reputation as a player and ladies man.
While not everyone agrees with their blossoming relationship, Jess and Fletch are exactly what they each need in their lives.
But not everything is perfect, the past is about to catch up with Jess, with devastating results, and the one person who she wants by her side, is not there.
The long awaited Playing series is here.
A fantastic start to what is, I feel, going to be an amazing series.
