When I was given this book to read and give an honest review, I had no idea what I was in for. The note from the author had me pretty hesitant to even start. You see, this book is not only a beautiful love story, but also about a pretty taboo topic…… depression. Why my hesitation? Because I am a sufferer, and have been for the better part of 10 years. I have suffered in silence, sometimes thinking that I didn’t matter. But I can sit here today and say that I am not cured, but I am loved and hell yes, I do matter.

There have been many books skirting the issue of depression and the effects it has on everyone around the sufferer. But, and please forgive me if my words come across as too strong, finally, finally here is the book I’ve been waiting for. It handles this illness with the dignity it so deserves. It gives the perspective from not only one side but from all involved. It gave me hope and made me see that there are people out there who are just like me, that I am not alone, even in a room full of people.

It had me jumping up and saying out loud, “this is exactly what depression is like”, where before I had no words to describe it.

Paige, from the bottom of my heart, THANKYOU. This little book of yours is simply outstanding. If I could rate it higher, believe me I would.
I highly recommend this wonderful, heartbreaking and insightful story.

Bravo Paige, Bravo xoxoxo
