Someone, anyone please explain to me the the hell did I just read.
Here I am twenty four hours after completing it and I am still having trouble digesting it.
To say I am speechless is an understatement…..I have no words!

This is my first ever novel read by this author, so I had no idea what I was getting myself into when picking it up.
When I started I will confess I found myself a little on the confused side, with the switching of characters. I hoped that as I read further into it, my confusion would disappear and my understanding with the characters would improve and I could grasp it a bit better.

But what I got when delving in further was one twisted, dark, sordid, phenomenal read that in the finish I couldn’t put down.

This novel is nothing short of mind twisting, raw and confronting, which at times had me holding my breath and making me re-read what I just read, because quite frankly I was shell shocked and couldn’t believe what was happening.

The subject matter was at times really hard to read because it was so disturbing, but it held me captive. Every page turned was like unravelling a secret, with twist after twist. There was not a moment in this novel that I knew what was going to happen next, it was that intriguing.

The way the author wrote with such depth and description had me feeling like I was there right beside each character, feeling their hurt, pain, sorrow, grief and the need for revenge.

The characters…Tia, Braxton, Ryker, Miguel….Each so very different, each so very unique with a story to tell which was executed perfectly.

There will be no story line, no hint from me at all about this novel, because quite frankly it needs to be read without that knowledge. You don’t need it from me guys, you need to read it yourself to understand where I am coming from.  And I know that you will not be disappointed.
An absolute brilliant read that shouldn’t be missed.
