These are some of the words I can think of to describe this new book by Lyssa Layne.
We meet Sawyer, a competitive ballroom dancer, a little after her mother has passed away. She must go back to her home town to clear up her mums belongings. But she’s also secretly hoping to find the identity of her father amongst said belongings.
Garrison is a military man, an airman, and whilst on deployment, comes back to the only family he cares for, his grandfather.
When their two worlds collide, literally, life is about to take a turn for these two. From the onset of them meeting, sparks fly, but Garrison is wary, he’s had his heart broken before, and what kind of life would they have if he was continuously overseas??
But there’s just something about Sawyer that he can’t get out of his mind. So against all his better judgements, he agrees to help Sawyer with her search for her father.
A sensationally beautiful love story that will have you reading through tears to the end.
It’s a lovely reminder that “family” isn’t always blood. It’s the people that protect you, love you and always want what’s best for you that can be counted as true family.
“Dance with me, beautiful Angel” where the last words a very precious man once said to me………so Dance I shall. Just like this book will dance in your heart long after you’ve finished reading.
