The love of your life.

The one that was your first kiss.

Your first partner.

Your first sexual partner.

On the same day you loose your best friend.

The one you turn to.

The one that is taught you to play basketball.

The one you were falling for.

You loose your boyfriend and his best friend you were falling for.

For 7 years you see your best friend but cant talk to him, he hates you, he called you a whore, hee blames you.

Leah is now 23 years old she loves her job she works hard and plays harder at the bar she is saving every penny she earns to buy.

She sassy, flirty, funny, sexy, caring and loves her family to death, but the one man who she wants she cant have.

Adam is now a police officer he decided not to follow his dream of becoming an architect and become a police officer to hunt down drug dealers after his best friend died because of drugs. Brad.

After an accident Leah is strikes a deal to do community service little did she realize she would have to deal with Adam for 100 hours of it.

At the start there is a lot of tension as the 2 haven’t spoken for 7 years the just exist in the same town together with him dropping in the by every night to check on it but little does Leah know he is actually checking on her and making sure she is ok as he has done for many years.

After dancing around each other for a bit they finally come to realize there love for one another but must keep it on the down low due to Adams job for the time being until tragedy strikes them both with a vicious attack on Leah and a near death experience for Adam.

I really enjoyed this book I’m not sure if i was just getting impatient or if it took forever for them to get together but its a beautiful heart breaking tragic story of 2 people finding love within each other after years.

I must say the ending had me laughing my arse off my husband thought I was friggin crazy!! Go Matthew Mcconaughey!!

Book Review – All I Am: Drew’s Story (This Man #3.5) by Jodi Ellen Malpas

Jesse Ward and the This Man Series…..Sheer brilliance, so you could only imagine my excitement knowing that we were getting Drew’s story.
And boy it did not disappoint.

Drew. Pushing 40 years old, his life is settled. A great job, a beautiful little girl to come home to, and Hux, the club where all things naughty happen with no strings attached.
Just the way Drew likes it. There is no room for relationships with Drew, because after-all, he had already been burned and has no intention of ever feeling that way again.

But when a young and beautiful Raya walks into Hux wanting a cold and an unemotional man to take her pain and free her from her thoughts, Drew is chosen.

Easy right?
Drew wants no attachment.
Raya doesn’t want it either.
They are perfect for one another.

But fate has other ideas.
What happens when emotions start to get involved?
What happens when Drew starts to question everything he thought he wanted?
What happens when Raya starts to question if cold and unemotional is really what she wants?

You guessed it guys…….You get one explosive, thought provoking, powerful read.

What can I say other than All I Am is sheer brilliance. A perfect novella delving into Drew and Raya’s world, and their sinfully delicious ways.
A perfect novella that makes you question everything you thought you wanted.
A perfect novella that will leave you breathless and wanting more.

We are also reunited with Jesse, Ava, Sam and Kate in this raw, gritty, downright dirty novella that I couldn’t get enough of.
For anyone who is a HUGE JEM fan just like me, you definitely don’t want to miss this.
Perfection.

Book Review – Dig Deep by Lyssa Layne

** Review by Kylie from Bloggers From Down Under **

Lindy has a troubled past that nobody but her brother knows about.
Fleeing a toxic relationship, Lindy finds herself on her brothers doorstep, meeting his new wife for the very first time.

Not only is she meeting new family members, but she’s about to meet Kip, a man who could very well sweep her off her feet.

But Lindy is damaged. So much so, she has vowed never to put her trust in another man ever again.

But even though she’s been warned to stay clear of Kip, Lindy is drawn to him, and it’s not only because he can get her once promising beach volleyball career back on track.

This short story is just the beginning of what is going to be a fantastic series. Ending with so many leads this story could take, I can’t wait to find out the rest of Lindy and Kips story.

Eagerly anticipating the next part in this series……..

5/5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Book Review – Sin and Cider by K. Reese

A debut novel from this author, and what can I say…..I have so much love for this novel. Simply magical.

We meet MacIntosh aka Mac.
Living in Chicago with her best friend CC, life is good for her.
But her job, not so much.
Feeling underappreciated, Mac makes the decision to go home for the summer.
Home being Tennessee.
She needs to rediscover herself.
But how can she knowing she is going back home to the man that sent her away to begin with?

We meet Lawson.
Born and bred in Tennessee, life is great for Lawson.
Loves his work, his home town.
And is very much single.
Lawson doesn’t want a relationship with anyone.
He’s happy for one night with no repeats.
But Mac’s return has left him confused.
How after 6 years can she evoke these feelings from him?

Welcome to Mac and Lawson’s world……

Guys this is a brilliant read. I am seriously lost for words. Such a beautifully written, detailed, heartfelt read that I couldn’t put down. A novel stripped back from any sort of glitz and glamour, a novel that for me (without sounding insulting) that was stripped back from any unnecessary situations or scenarios. A novel that had such purity and innocence to it, I couldn’t help but be drawn to every page. Don’t get me wrong it’s all things sinful and deliciously naughty, but overall a breathtaking story about opening your heart and soul and trust that you won’t be broken.

A brilliant debut novel from this author. I cannot wait for what the author has installed for us next.

5 stars.

Natasha Madison has done it again. Cheeky is just that…Cheeky with all sorts of absolute brilliance.

We meet Lexi and Bradley.
They grew up with one another.
Bradley is Lexi’s brothers best friend.
Friends since forever, but never anything else.
Lexi is simply unattainable.
They haven’t seen one another for years.

So what are the chances that they both happen to be going to Vegas. Same flight, same hotel, both solo and staying both for a week?
Yep you guessed it…..They are both headed for Vegas.
And we know how that goes right?
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas……

Both Lexi and Bradley make a deal.
Together, one week, no strings attached. Just a week of all things sinful, then back to reality when the trip is over.

Sounds easy right?
You have no idea how wrong it will be….

What an absolute brilliant read. I loved, loved, loved it. It was lighthearted, humorous, fun and flirty and all things naughty.
The chemistry between both Lexi and Bradley was just explosive.
And their get down and dirty time? Simply delicious.
Overall a fun loving, quirky and all things naughty read that I couldn’t put down.

Thank you Natasha Madison for yet another novel that not only did I absolutely love, but a novel that kept me entertained from beginning to end.

Book Review – Devil’s Playground (A Devil’s Mayhem Novel) by Paige Matthews

Imagine this for only a second.

You have the perfect life. A great job, friends, your own apartment.
You want for nothing.
Your brother always checks on you making sure that you are okay.
But his behaviour becomes odd.
The things he says doesn’t quite make sense.
He gives you instructions if something were to happen to him.
You can’t get your head around it, but you listen to his every word.
And then in a blink of an eye everything changes.
You watch as your brother slowly dies in front of you, dying in your arms.
You have to do what he told you.
You run.
You run as far away as you can.
You run to the one person your brother told you too.
You run to the only person your brother trusted.
Welcome to Candace’s world.

You are the President of Devil’s Mayhem Outlaws.
An ex-Seal, your life is now to protect those of your brothers.
The very men you fought with in war.
But everything is about to change.
A knock at your door will change your whole world.
Broken, bloody and in tears you have to help her.
You made a promise to her brother that you would always take care of her.
Welcome to Tank’s world.

Guys what can I say other than this novel is explosive. From beginning to end I couldn’t put it down. Raw, emotional, gritty, sinfully delicious and twisted best describes this novel for me.
Candace, what a firecracker.
Tank, damn he’s just all things delicious.
Put these two together?
You have yourself a beautiful disaster that takes your breath away.

I cannot rate this novel high enough. A perfect read by Paige Matthews that will leave you wanting more.

5 stars.

We will keep this review very short and sweet, I personally couldn’t get into this book I found it a bit all over the place and some parts just didn’t make sense where I would have to go back and re read to see if I missed something, this is normally our style of book but this one just didn’t do it for us.
